Dermaplaning is a method designed to rejuvenate and revitalise skin. It cleanses the surface of the skin through exfoliation. The treatment will also remove any unwanted hair. Dermaplaning requires using a 10-gauge scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dull dead skin cells, to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.
Firstly, a client will be put through a basic facial routine of cleansing the skin. Next, the razor is held at a 45-degree angle and gently moved in swift strokes to remove dead cells and hairs. The area is left smooth and revitalised.
